Remote Desktop Access

The Engineering Computing Center also allows Engineering students to remotely access the computers located inside the ECC. Access is available over a web browser, no client installation is necessary. All the computers in the ECC are running Windows 10. 

Please fill out this form to request access. Login to the form using your Cougarnet credentials, userid @ Please note that these requests are processed manually during business hours.

Once access has been granted:

  • Navigate to in a web browser.
  • Maximize the browser window (F11) before you login. Use your Cougarnet credentials.
  • This should log you into a Windows 10 Desktop. You should use your OneDrive or something similar to transfer files.
  • The computers have a weekly maintenance window starting on Sunday evenings at 11:59pm and ending at 5:00am.
